Nestled within the sunflower fields and lush greenery of the Ningbo Eastern New Town Ecological Corridor, "Homing" is a testament to the power of artistic restoration. Originally a rusted, weathered steel structure, the corridor underwent a comprehensive reinforcement and aesthetic overhaul. The main framework was treated with a high-durability azure fluorocarbon coating, complemented by stylized 3D bird motifs painted on the walls. Perched atop the structure are delicate stainless steel bird sculptures, forged with a high-mirror finish to capture the dancing light of the sky. This project redefines public resting spaces by blending functional shelter with a narrative of ecological harmony. It serves as a "breathing lounge" in the heart of the city, symbolizing urban renewal and the peaceful coexistence of nature and the modern metropolis.
