Strategically arrayed at the southwest entrance of Ningbo Children's Park, "Rainbow Windmills" is a monumental kinetic installation designed to harmonize with the linear flow of the entry space. The project features a series of staggered pillars equipped with precision-engineered wind blades that respond to the slightest natural breeze. Finished in a bold palette of yellow, blue, and red fluorocarbon coatings, the windmills simulate a rhythmic rainbow ribbon that guides visitors into the park. By integrating high-performance bearing structures with durable stainless steel, the work bridges the gap between mechanical precision and playful art. It serves as an interactive gateway that enhances the sense of arrival and ritual, fostering an atmosphere of vitality and joy for families and children.
