WIND SAIL
A 9.5-meter minimalist landmark that juxtaposes organic perforated surfaces with rhythmic line-tensioned sails, symbolizing Fenghua's maritime spirit and its forward-looking urban vitality.
WIND SAIL
Strategically positioned at a key junction of the Xiahu Line in Fenghua, "Wind Sail" is a poetic fusion of contemporary structural aesthetics and regional identity. The installation features a dual-surface composition: the left side consists of a solid, organic plate with perforated textures simulating natural biological patterns, while the right side unfolds into a dynamic sail-like form created through the tensioning of multiple stainless steel lines. Finished in a pure white fluorocarbon coating, the sculpture creates a striking silhouette against the blue sky and green hills. The contrast between the translucent line-work and the solid perforated form captures a sense of light-weight tension and upward movement. This gateway installation serves as a spirit-guiding landmark, celebrating the concept of "Sailing Forward" as Fenghua transitions into a modern, vibrant urban-rural hub.
