ZHANG CANGSHUI
A 3-meter antique-finished brass statue crafted via traditional investment casting, commemorating the legendary general’s patriotism against the backdrop of Hua'ao Island's coastal landscape.
ZHANG CANGSHUI
Set along the scenic promenade of Hua'ao Island in Xiangshan, the "Zhang Cangshui" sculpture serves as a solemn bridge between Ningbo's maritime history and its natural beauty. Standing 3 meters tall, the statue depicts the Ming Dynasty general in official robes, holding a scroll while gazing resolutely toward the distant sea. Utilizing the ancient lost-wax casting method with a weathered brass finish, the work captures the intricate textures of historical attire and the stoic expression of a national hero. The sculpture's robes appear to flutter in the coastal breeze, symbolizing a spirit that remains steadfast against the tides of time. This installation transforms a scenic route into a cultural journey, allowing visitors to connect with the island's defense legacy while surrounded by its breathtaking mountain and sea views.
